What is my Library account for?
Your Library account is for the print items you borrow. It allows you to request print books (we send them freely via courier) and to view and renew the print books you have checked out.
How do I login to my Library account?
If this is your first time logging in to your account, enter your student number (staff enter a Library Username*) and leave the password field blank. You will be prompted to create your own Library password.
* The Staff Username for Library print resources is usually the first three letters of your surname and first three letters of your first name, e.g. manpau. You may need to register first for Library access. If you cannot login in, please contact us.)
Do I use the same Library account password for electronic resources?
No, all of the Library's electronic resources, like ebooks, e-articles and research databases, are accessed by your Open Polytechnic (or Te Rito Maioha) login. Your Library account password is only for print items.
