International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated on March 8, is a time to recognise and appreciate the contributions of women in Aotearoa New Zealand. As the first country to grant women the right to vote in 1893, New Zealand has a rich history of strong and inspiring women who have shaped society in many ways.
