September 14th - 20th is Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week)!
Each day of the week has a different focus, designed to incorporate reo into the home, workplace, and community:
Mane: Te Reo i te Wāhi Tangata / Take te reo to the streets
Tūrei: Te Reo i te Kāinga / Take te reo home
Wenerei: Te Reo i te Wahi Mahi / Make te reo part of the working day
Tāite: Te Reo i te Hapori / Use te reo together
Paraire: Te Reo Auaha / Create in te reo
Hātarei: Te Reo I te Kori Tinana / Move with te reo
Hanarei: Te Reo Tuku Iho / Carry te reo forward
